Great Men Think Alike - Like God, You have the mind of Christ We talk a lot here about our thinking; what we choose to think, catching ourselves thinking things that serve no useful purpose to our direction or our goals, and deciding that when we find useless thoughts invading our mind....we stop and re-think with useful thoughts. This is similar to re-tooling a failing piece of machinery. You take out the failing tool and replace it with a new and functional tool to allow you to produce the desired end result. This is our life and thinking our tool to be useful and productive. Others have presented themselves as experts and believe they know what is best for your life. Are they the best source of information on how to fix your life? They will tell you, |Yes!| And of course, they know better than you do....Right? |NO!| That is the wrong answer! And you know it in your heart. Instead of being manipulated by other people or systems, isn't it time for you to take responsibility? Isn't it time to begin to control and direct your thinking? Isn't it time to control and direct your own life? But where do you start? Do you realize and protect your worth? Just like you know how valuable your body is and that you need to put good food in it to have it run efficiently and effectively, so it is with your mind. What are you choosing to chew on? Are your thoughts Godly food, producing the good life? ...or, are you acting like a victim? ...or, are you living in want? ...or, are you believing that things won't get better, and you don't have a choice? If not, then... Then what is Godly thought? Is your gauge for Godly thought as a Christ follower |positive vs. negative|; or do you gauge thoughts, words and actions as, |worldly vs. Godly|? It will take some time to gauge properly, and it starts with questioning. Questioning is one of our greatest tools. God is not upset or confused when you question. He said to |test the spirits.| If you don't first question His Spirit while wrestling with these new precepts in your heart and then getting your answers, how will you be able to wrestle effectively with deceitful spirits and know the difference between their voice and His? Who would have thought your thinking and words mean so much to God?
